SUMMARY

The IT team is looking for an IT Engineer - Compliance to help spread the Wiz magic. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will contribute your technical expertise to engineering and compliance activities falling within the team’s purview. A generalist system administrator skillset is required for this role as is experience supporting compliance and audit work, especially for FedRAMP. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design, build, and iterate on every detail of corporate IT programs such as application administration, identity and access management, and endpoint management
  • Be IT Engineering’s primary interface with our public sector and internal audit teams
  • Participate in day-to-day service desk tasks such as handling tier 2 escalations, producing internal documentation, and supporting the team on-call rotation
  • Lead architecture and control creation and changes related to compliance requirements for IT, e.g. FedRAMP impact level uplift
  • Participate in developing compliance policies and training as well as completing audit-related activities such as evidence collection
  • Serve as an expert advisor to end users and stakeholder teams in resolving issues and implementing effective processes and technical solutions
  • In collaboration with project managers and IT leadership, plan and report on work related to hardware and software design and implementation projects
  • Engage in all facets of the project management lifecycle from initiation to closeout
  • Integrate various SaaS products using both vendor-provided features and through development of custom tooling
  • Contribute to the crafting of team policies and procedures with a focus on our emergent federal business unit

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 6+ years of experience in IT roles with at least 2 of those being directly focused on FedRAMP or other compliance-related activities
  • Skill in managing all facets of productivity and collaboration (e.g. Google Workspace or Microsoft 365), mobile device management (e.g. Jamf or Kandji), and identity and access management tooling (e.g. Okta or Entra ID)
  • Fluency in network topologies and technologies as well as cloud infrastructure
  • Motivation to teach and learn and speak up to continually improve this young and fast-moving team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying scopes simultaneously and pivot when necessary

 

 Candidates must meet EAR part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person (Any individual who is granted U.S. citizenship; or any individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (green card holder); or any individual who is granted status as a “protected person”) and that they reside in the contiguous United States.
