Everything you ❤ about Wiz, now deployed in a new Canadian data center
Wiz launches a new Canadian data center and adds support for CSE Information Technology Security Guidance (ITSG) 33 framework helping organizations simplify cloud security and compliance.
We are thrilled to announce the availability of our new cloud data center located in Montreal, Canada. Local and multi-national organizations with a Canadian presence can now benefit from closer geographic proximity while maintaining data sovereignty and privacy requirements.
The new data center is designed to provide businesses with a faster, more secure, reliable, and high-performance cloud security infrastructure to support their mission-critical cloud applications and data. With our commitment to data privacy and compliance, we are confident that our new deployment will be a game-changer for businesses operating in Canada and beyond.
Our investment in the region is propelled by Wiz's strong customer growth and momentum in the Canadian market, including some of the region's biggest brands, such as Northbridge Financial, Assent, Questrade, and Shakepay. Canadian firms are innovating rapidly, and IDC reports that growth and consumption of cloud services in Canada will continue to grow at a blistering pace, reaching $132.6B by 2025 dominated by the consumption of cloud services, core business applications, security, and customer experience.
Wiz's new data center demonstrates the company's ongoing commitment to providing reliable cloud solutions to Canadian businesses and is a major boost for our expanding cloud requirements. As we generate and manage a larger amount of data, cloud security remains a top priority, and we have confidence that Wiz will continually deliver optimal solutions to meet our needs.
