SUMMARY
We're looking for a dedicated and dynamic Director, Strategic Partners - Japan, to join us in spreading the power of Wiz. In this role, you will report to the VP of APAC Channel & Alliances and work alongside a team of Wizards that focus on understanding the business needs of our customers around the world. As the Director, Strategic Partners - Japan, you will be the first person dedicated to our strategic partner business in Japan and will eventually lead a team of best-in-class partner managers who are responsible for nurturing the relationships between Wiz and our most valuable partners in Japan.
We are focused on candidates located in the Greater Tokyo area and support hybrid work models.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive strategy for our Strategic Partners in Japan
- National operating model management: Strategic Partner Business Plans (executive partner ownership, practice building, enablement at scale, marketing programs at scale, and north of 35% partner-sourced business)
- Lead a team of partner managers who own relationships with our top Strategic Japan Partners
- MOU partner investments: Execution and ongoing accountability of joint investments and attainment
- Insertion points: Identify, build, and launch relevant pre/post sales insertion points to accelerate access & adoption of the Wiz platform
- Drive and support enablement activities with partner sellers and technical teams
- Own escalations to ensure conflict is resolved
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partner executives to ensure long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in sales and use this knowledge to inform sales strategy and tactics
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and report on sales performance to executive leadership
- Demonstrate an intimate understanding of Wiz Cloud Security solutions and their value to our customers
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 7+ years' experience managing and leading a team of partner managers at a top SaaS company
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Ability to be a player-coach for your future team and not afraid to roll your sleeves up as an individual contributor when needed
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Process-Oriented Nature. You pay attention to the details. Your previous Sales Operations Teams love you
- Experience as a Channel Matchmaker. You know how to find the right partner for the right opportunity
- A track record as a Team Player. Selling is a team sport, and the field is our customer. You were your previous Field team's "go-to" channel person
- Experience in channel recruitment and onboarding
- Cloud Service Provider Marketplace experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
